Going Away

Princess Three and I went into Brisbane city today to watch hubby/daddy march as part of the air force reserves. She was shockingly well behaved considering the long wait for his squadron to appear (and the resulting disappointment when we couldn't make him out amongst the sea of blue uniforms). Not to mention she had the s*** scared out of her by an F111. There really should be some early warning system when those things are going to fly right over your head. It was a great turn out, which is good to see on such an important day.

I won't be blogging for a while. I'm heading off on a road trip to Sydney to visit relatives, stopping at Dubbo Zoo and a few other places on the way. Should be an adventure with Princess and Cherub in tow. And I'm sure my dieting efforts will be stalled, if not reversed by all the fast food I'm bound to consume. It seems inevitable I'll come back 2kg heavier but I'll try my best to resist temptation. Now doesn't that sound like the perfect way to spoil a good road trip? It's all about the chips and choccies. Sigh. Diets suck.
